Kelli Dunaway is a Democrat running for Missouri’s 2nd District. A lifelong advocate for equal rights and mother of two, Kelli brings a balance of empathy and experience to her candidacy, as well as the unwavering commitment to listen to – and fight for – all constituents of the District.
Kelli is the Assistant Director of Legal Professional Development at Bryan Cave LLP. In this role, Kelli is the architect of firm-wide professional development programs and policies. She is also a Fellow with the Truman National Security Project and a founding director of the St. Louis Chapter of the New Leaders Council.
Kelli received her J.D. from UCLA and her B.A. in History from Southern Illinois University. She served as a field organizer in several states for President Obama's 2008 campaign and as a field trainer for the Courage Campaign for marriage equality. Having worked on a variety of issue and candidate campaigns, she has experience in fundraising, messaging, and organization. Kelli also served a term as an elected delegate to the California Democratic Party.
The mother of two young children (Bella and Liam), Kelli is running for Congress on a platform of education equality; accessible healthcare for all, regardless of ZIP code or income; and economic opportunity for every family.
